Whakapuni Station & Gardens — Booking Terms & Conditions

 

By making a booking request to visit Whakapuni Station & Gardens, you agree to the following:

 

Bookings & confirmation
Garden visits are by prior appointment only. Submitting a booking request does not confirm your visit. Your booking is confirmed once you receive confirmation from Whakapuni Station & Gardens.

 

Booking notice
Garden Tour bookings require at least 24 hours’ notice.
Garden Tour & High Tea bookings require at least 48 hours’ notice.

 

Cancellations & changes

For Garden Tours, cancellations made at least 24 hours before your confirmed booking may be refunded or transferred to another available date.

For Garden Tour & High Tea, cancellations made at least 48 hours before your confirmed booking may be refunded or transferred to another available date, as food is prepared specifically for your visit.

Cancellations made within these notice periods are non-refundable.

If Whakapuni Station & Gardens needs to cancel or postpone your visit due to weather or unforeseen circumstances, you may choose another suitable date or receive a full refund.

 

Payment

Payment can be made prior to your visit by bank deposit, or in person on the day. Prices are per person and are those shown at the time of booking.

High Tea & dietary requirements
Please advise us of any dietary requirements or allergies when making your booking. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate dietary requirements; however, food is prepared in an environment where allergens may be present.

 

Visiting the gardens
Whakapuni is a working private property and garden. Please take care while exploring, as paths and garden areas may include uneven ground, steps, gravel, wet or slippery surfaces and other natural hazards.

Children must be supervised by an adult at all times.

 

Dogs
Sorry, dogs are not permitted in the gardens.

Nothing in these terms is intended to limit any rights you may have under New Zealand consumer law, including the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and Fair Trading Act 1986.
